Prologue

I love films.

I really do.

My job can be soul destroying so escapism forms a big part of my life and watching movies constitutes a big chunk of that.

I’ve watched films since before I can remember; in fact, one of my earliest memories involves seeing Star Wars at the cinema.

I’ll watch pretty much anything once and there are very few films that I’ll refuse to watch.

This will hopefully be a pretension free area. In no way, shape or form am I trying to be the next Roger Ebert.

I won’t be using this as a movie diary, I have a Letterboxd account for that.
